Best Stare Down: Mean Mug vs Calm Relaxed Stare

One popular topic on blogs and fight forums is who has the most intimidating stare down, you could basically break it down into two categories. The Mean Mug or A Calm Relaxed Stare, we've seen some intense square ups at weigh-ins and before fights but which one is more intimidating?

The Mean Mugger

Rampage Jackson is notorious for mean mugging opponents before fights and weigh-ins, he has proven he could back up the mean mug.

Diego Sanchez has quite possibly the meanest mug in UFC, is it intimidating? That's a good question. Everyone has an opinion, some say that it looks silly or he's trying to hard. I say he does that because it reflects how he fights, and if your standing in front of him, you know he's coming after you with everything he's got, and nobody who is a UFC fan can say he doesn't.

Nate Diaz - Although he's struggled recently in the UFC, he's still a pretty solid fighter and definitely has one of the meanest mugs in the UFC.

Calm Relaxed Stare

Wanderlei Silva is just a really ugly guy but I think he would fall more under this category because he is really calm and relaxed when squaring up, like he's thinking "just wait till this bell rings bitch"

Anderson Silva is arguably the pound for pound greatest fighter in the sport today, in stare downs he's calm and relaxed but that intimidation factor sets in because you've seen what he's done to literally everybody who stood in front of him in the UFC before.

BJ Penn's stare down is sick because the guy doesn't even have to try to kick your ass, he's just a born fighter and everything he does is natural
