Brendan Schaub set to take on Big Nog in Rio

TUF 10 finalist Brendan Schaub is coming off a KO win against a MMA Legend Mirco CroCop, he now turns his attention to another MMA legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Since his victory against CroCop he's been pushing the idea of fighting Big Nog. He got his wish and is set to fight Big Nog in his hometown of Rio De Janeiro at UFC 134. Nogueira who is widely known as a MMA Legend hasn't fought since his KO Loss to Cain Velasquez in Feb of 2010 but is 32 - 6 - 1 in his career with 20 of those wins coming via submission.
Is it possible that young fighters like Schaub see declining mma legends as nothing more than a stepping stone? Directly after his win against CroCop he pushes for a fight with Nogueira, is this because he truly wants to fight a respected MMA Icon or he sees a fighter fading and an easy win against a MMA Legend as decorated as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
